Our Story

We first met in 2020. As law-abiding citizens, we respectfully resorted to online dating in order to avoid close contact (thankfully social distancing is no longer enforced). Unbeknownst to us, luck would strike again as Rachel got offered a job at the same company where Jakob was already employed, only a few weeks after matching online. As members of the same team, we both decided to keep it strictly professional. That lasted three months. To summarize the rest: (1) We clear it with HR, (2) Juniper (Rachel’s Schnoodle dog) approves of Jakob, (3) After 3.5 years of being together, we become inseparable (4) Jakob proposes to Rachel during a wonderful summer trip to Stockholm, Sweden, (5) We move to colorful Colorado and buy a house in Louisville near the Flatirons where we currently reside.
