What day should I plan to arrive in Colorado?

We recommend arriving at least a couple of days before the wedding to ensure you have time to adjust to the altitude.

What time should I arrive at River Bend on the day of the wedding?

Please arrive about 30 minutes before the ceremony, to ensure you have time to park and find your seat!

How can I prepare for altitude sickness?

Avoid strenuous exercise on the first day and drink lots of water! Also, be sure to bring chapstick and sunscreen.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Yes!

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The wedding will be fully outdoors.

What is the weather like in the area?

You can expect very warm weather in August: High 87° / Low 57°F (30° / 14°C).

What is “Summer Cocktail Attire / Smart Casual”?

Think summer dresses and button down shirts. Not too fancy, but not too casual. Skip the tennis shoes, t-shirts and jeans. Plan for warm weather, but bring a jacket as it may get breezy at night.

Also be aware that we will mainly be in a grassy area, so plan your shoes accordingly.
